DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01 Bangkok arrival
"Sawaddee"! Your guide welcomes you at the airport and escorts you to your hotel.
Take a rest after the long flight. (Normal check-in time at hotel is 15.00 hrs.)
Day 02
Bangkok full day tour
In the morning
- Have breakfast at your hotel.
- Visit the Grand Palace; golden roofs glittering over the surrounding houses, the complex is a
magical place full of color and shape. The country's number 1 attraction will never disappoint you.
Strolling between the locals, mostly men, hoping to find the right lucky amulet you will learn from
your guide what makes the difference in these hundreds of little figures.
- Arrive at Wat Pho, the enormous reclining Buddha in his buzzing temple. Discover the low line of
buckets behind his enormous feet; drop a coin in each, don't miss any, and your wish will be granted!
In the afternoon
- Board your long-tailed boat (or larger boat depending on group size) to cruise the Chao Praya-river
and the narrow green canals, klong, still lined with wooden houses; Bangkok from the past.
- End the tour by climbing up sacred Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn, for a fulfilling view over the River
of Kings and the Grand Palace on the other side.
- After the tour, transfer back to your hotel for relaxation and refreshment.
- A tour filled with color, smell and impressions of many different people who make up Thailand.
Business has always been the keyword in the Chinese community and when you are trying to make your way
through the hundreds of shops selling everything from toys to chopsticks and from typewriters to car
engines. Different sections have different products and your guide leads you from one alley to the
next. The delicious smell of spice prickles your nose and eyes.
In the evening
- Have buffet dinner with Thai traditional show at Anantara Riverside Hotel. (This
is available on Thursday-Saturday)

Day 03
Bangkok - Meklong Market - Damnoen Saduak - Jim Thompson House
In the morning
- Have breakfast at your hotel.
- Today it means getting up early. Take a one-hour drive, leaving the high-rises behind and entering a
land of lush landscapes and traditional wooden houses. Enroute we will make a stop to see the local
salt vendor alongside the street. And if you are lucky, you can see the raw salt collected on the salt
field.
- Stop at a local railway station where a bustling country market has sprouted up along the tracks. As
a train pulls into the station, witness the vendors quickly clearing their stalls off the railway.
- Then, after the train departs, watch them set up shop and resume business as usual.
- From here, continue to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Although these days the stalls are
mostly selling items for tourists, the Damnoen Saduak remains the best example of a traditional
floating market.
- Take a stroll around and admire the floating shops, many of which are selling fresh fruits and
typical Thai snacks.
In the afternoon
- Back to Bangkok.
- Visit Jim Thompson House. Thompson's Bangkok house has been turned into a monument to the man and
the Thai silk he celebrated. It is explored extensively, takes participants through the incredible
collection of art and antiques which Thompson amassed, whilst retelling his life story in a gripping
introduction to this fascinating figure.

Day 04
Morning flight to Hanoi - half-day city tour
Welcome to Vietnam: after long time on airplane, you will reach Vietnam - the S-shaped
land, where 54 different ethnic minorities inhabited.
In the morning
- Have breakfast at your hotel.
- Depend on your schedule, our driver will transfer your group to airport for your flight to Hanoi,
Vietnam.
- Flight suggestion: VN610 12.20/14.30.
- On your arrival in Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and
driver then transferred to your hotel in Hanoi.
- You will visit a local restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon
- Walking along the street you will reach Temple of Jade Mountain sitting on a small
island in the northern part of Hoan Kiem Lake and dedicated to the King Tran Hung Dao.
- Afterward, you will sit in front of Cyclo to move around the old quarter and experience the local
life in 30 minutes. The cyclo tour will take you back to your hotel.

Day 05
Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Trang An
In the morning
- At 08:00, after enjoying delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will leave Hanoi for Ninh Binh -our
destination today, which is about 1 hour and a half driving to the South.
- The first visit in this legend area is Hoa Lu Temple, the capital of Dai Co Viet
(an old name of Vietnam). Being the capital of the first fundamental Government of Vietnam, Hoa Lu
witnessed many important historical events: the union of Vietnam after "12 Lords Rebellion", the war
with the Song dynasty, the defense against the ancient Cambodian, and the formation of Hanoi nowadays.
In the afternoon
- After having lunch, you will take a sampan on river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the
sacred Trang An Caves. Enormous limestone karsts jut out from the green rice fields
giving rise to this place's other name, "Halong Bay on land".
- After the tour, then you will be transferred to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 06
Hanoi - Mai Chau valley
In the morning
- At 08:00, our guide and driver meet you at hotel then start your journey to Mai Chau, a world away
from Hanoi's hustle. This place has long been the beautiful tourist spot appealing tourists due to the
majestic nature, peaceful landscapes and enthusiasm of the Thai locals.
- Arrive in Mai Chau around noon, check in your room and enjoy lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon
- After lunch, you will have time to cycle beautiful ethnic villages such as Na Thia,
Nhot, Pom Coong, Lac and Chieng
Chau villages on foot. This is a chance to learn more about local lifestyle and discover
the culture of Thai locals. Total cycling time is around 2 - 3 hours on flat village paths
- Moreover, on the way, you can admire the scenic view, take a lot of great photos and take a deep
breath to enjoy the fresh air.
- After the trip, you will come back to Mai Chau Ecolodge to check in and have dinner.
In the evening
- It's the time for you to enjoy a traditional dance show and taste Ruou Can, a local rice wine (this
is optional and excluded).

Day 07
Mai Chau - Hanoi
In the morning
- At 08:00, after breakfast, you will have time to ride a bike to visit beautiful ethnic villages such
as Na Tang, Cha Long, Tòng Đậu, Van Village. You will be their guests in their
traditional stilt houses that definitely allow you to see firsthand how these minority peoples live.
The ride passes through the villages, across lush rice paddies and above a valley for stunning views.
- Come back to your accommodation to relax after cycling before having lunch
In the afternoon
- At 14:00, say goodbye to Mai Chau, you will be transferred back to Hanoi
- Arrive Hanoi at around 17:00 and you have your own free time

Day 08
Hanoi - Halong Bay/Lan Ha Bay
In the morning
- Around 09:00 a.m, you will be pick up and transferred to Lan Ha Bay. The passengers have a chance to
experience on longest and newest bridge in South East Asia area.
- At 12:00: The crew members of Peony Cruise will welcome you at No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.
In the afternoon
- 12:45: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board
our luxurious craft, Peony Cruise. Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food
and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently
dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn't get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay - A
member of the World's Most Beautiful Bays.
- 15:00: We will visit the Dark and Bright cave, famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic,
attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local
see-sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoin bamboo boat or kayaking which is an
interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan
Ha Bay. Afterwards, visitors immerse in the emerald green water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming
activities or enjoy mini pool with jacuzzi on Peony Cruise.
- 16:30: Return to Peony Cruise. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the
stunning moment of sunset at Lan Ha Bay.
In the evening
- From 17:30 to 18:30: You can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the
making of some Vietnam dishes. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal with buy 1 get 1
free.
- At 19:30: Sumptuous Candlelight Deluxe Dinner Set Menu is served for dinner. Enjoy an intimate
romantic setting by wonderful onboard catering staff.
- You can contemplate the landscape of the bay up on the top deck until 21:30 when the night
squid-fishing is organized. You can also choose to relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar or watch
a movie in the restaurant.

Day 09
Halong Bay - Hanoi - Flight to Danang - Hoian
In the morning
- 06:30: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
- 06:45 - 07:15: Have a light breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Lan Ha Bay.
- 07:30 - 90:00: You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30
minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang - one of the most impressive caves
in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering
geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
- 09:30: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin. Then the lunch in the restaurant
is ready for you, pay the extra fee (if any) at the reception while traveling to the port. Kindly
needed to pay for the costs in charge of the front desk (if any) while traveling to the port.
- 10:30 - 11:00: Disembark and move back the port.
- 11:30 - 11:45: Arrive Tuan Chau Marina.
In the afternoon
- 12:00: Get on the car and transfer directly to airport for your flight to Danang Airport.

- On your arrival at Danang International Airport, warm welcomed by our tour guide then he will take
your group to your hotel in Hoian for doing check-in room.

Day 10
Cooking class - Hoian walking tour - Memories Show
In the morning
- At 08:30 after having breakfast, our guide will meet you up and take a walk to the meeting point of
the cooking class in the town and enjoy the welcome drink
- At 09:00, you start visiting Hoi An's colorful market and experience the amazing
sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. You can interact with the local sellers and
learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
- You then board the boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the
Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your
camera is handy.
- On arrival, you explore the cooking school's herb garden before learning about some of Hoi An's and
Vietnam's well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours - the chefs first demonstrate
each dish before you prepare the same dish yourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction
to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration).
- After the lesson, you will savour what you have cooked.
In the afternoon
- At 14:00, you will start discovering Hoi An town - the World Heritage site.
- You will be introduced about many delights of Hoi An. From expert dressmakers and tailors, who will
craft a complete outfit for you in a couple of days, to a dawn photo trip along the river or from a
fun visit to Hoi An Local Market then following small alleys to see the Chinese Assembly Hall,
the famous Japanese Covered Bridge and Tan Ky Ancient House and the China Town in the other
side of the canal, you'll find yourself miss that one-of-a-kind port town in every single road of your
ahead travel.
- At around 17:00, the tour will come to the end and you will ride back to your hotel for your own
free time afterward.
In the evening
- Around 19.00, meet our tour guide at hotel lobby then he will take your group to joint Hoian
Memories Show. Hoian Memories Show conveys the most authentic cultural and historical
values for visitors, deeply imprinted for every visitor watching the show thanks to the scale and the
extremely elaborate investment in quality.

Day 11
My Son sanctuary - free time - Flight to Ho Chi Minh city
In the morning
- At 08:30, you will be met up by our guide and driver then begin the scenic route to My
Son, which takes around 1-hour driving.
- Once you have arrived at our destination, you will be given the opportunity to explore the
fascinating ruins, learn about the different structures and what historic role they played.
- Furthermore, you will to also be able learn why it is considered one of the most significant Hindu
complexes in South East Asia and have the chance to enjoy a Cham Traditional Dance
Show.
- After 2 hours experiencing the My Son Sanctuary, you will be transferred back to
Hoi An town for lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon
- Free time to explore Hoian town or relaxing on Cua Dai beach & An Bang beach.
- Upon your schedule, our driver will transfer your group to airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh.
- On your arrival, greetings by our tour guide then he will take your group to your hotel for doing
check-in.
- Free time at leisure.

Day 12
Cu Chi Tunnels - half day city tour
In the morning
- At 08:00, you will be met up by our guide at the lobby of the hotel after you have breakfast, then
transferred to Cu Chi tunnels.
- Cu Chi tunnels are famed for its 200-kilometre-long tunnels, an incredible
underground network built by Vietcong during the Vietnam war. By visiting this site, you will have a
chance to look back to the War time of Vietnam and see how we fight the invaders
- After spending time visiting these long tunnels, you will go to the local restaurant for lunch
In the afternoon
- After saving with lunch of local foods, you will get back to Ho Chi Minh and visit the highlights of
the city
- Firstly, you will visit the War Remnants Museum, which is a unit under the
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Chi Minh City. This is museum of thematic research,
collection, and display of the material on the evidence of the crime and the consequences of the war
that the invasion force has caused to Vietnam.
- The Reunification Palace, whose architecture is a blend of traditional ritual and
modern architecture, typical of the 60s'.
- Next, you will walk a short distance to The Central Post Office, which is one of
the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh. Being a mixture of Gothic, Renaissance and French influences,
this building fascinates tourists by its typical colonial French features, from exterior to interior
decorations.
- Then, the last attraction is Notre Dame Cathedral. The cathedral is considered the
symbol of this dynamic city, is located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh and reaches a height of up to
60 meters.
- At around 17:00, you will be transferred back to your hotel and have your own free time afterward

Day 13
Mekong Delta - Ben Tre
In the morning
- At 08:00, our guide and driver will meet you up at your hotel and departs to Phong Nam that belongs
to Ben Tre province
- Reaching Phong Nam Bridge at around 10:00, you will straightly cruise along the
Chet Say River to see the view of transferring goods by boat, the coconut organ along the river...
- You will stop to visit the brick kilns with the way to do brickwork of local
people, see coconut shells charcoal, this is the material to make activated charcoal,
coconut preliminary processing such as skinning coconut, smashing coconut, prizing coconut, smoothing
coconut, ...
- Afterwards, you will have time to enjoy the fresh coconut water on the cruise and
move to Cai Son canal to see the pudding scene along the river
- You will also visit coconut candy oven - enjoy hot coconut candy at the oven,
seasonal fruit, honey tea
- After that, you will visit the village of weaving mats in Nhon Thanh. On the way,
you will see the peaceful village road by a xe-lôi (a kind of motorized
rickshaw) or by bike.
- Having lunch at local restaurant
In the afternoon
- After lunch time, getting on the sampan boat to enjoy the view along coconut canal.
- Getting on motorboat come back to to Hung Vuong Dock, where our driver is waiting to take you back
to ho Chi Minh
- At around 16:30, you will reach your hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Ho Chi Minh Departure
Depending on your flight time, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport
